The first Olsonimages.com Post

Ok so this is like my 5th or 6th online journal.. ok blog. I have been working on creating a new portfolio page for myself. If you have not figured it out by now I am Elliot Olson. I am a design student at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland Oregon. I have been working as a professional photographer for the past 7 years or so and decided to come back to school. I am in my senior year now and am slated to graduate in the winter of 2007. I have been working my butt off trying to get ahead and I think I have done it. I take every chance I can to learn something new. This is my first time creating a custom template for wordpress. I have done a textpattern blog in the past but never really happy with it. In the end I know it is a good system that is both flexable and robust but it always kinda felt like playing with tinker toys to me. Wordpress feels more like Legos. Really good Legos with all kinds of special parts. I really hope you get my drift here… I have been working on creating an idea for my Senior thesis. I think I am going to try to use design to strengthen the community within the PNCA design community. I also think I might be crazy but that is kinda irrelevant.  Hope you enjoy the blog…
