Pica Nuttalli
Last term I created a identity system, labels, and packaging for a company called Pica Nuttalli for design studio 3 class. The company was of course made up and the labels were never printed on a press but I had the opportunity to create something I was proud of.I spent all term working on this project and in the end was very happy with the result. Pica Nuttalli is the scientific name of the Yello
w Billed Magpie, a bird that only lives in the foothills of California’s wine country. During the project I created a back story for the vineyard, a logo and type treatment, a set of labels, and gift packaging. I had the idea that wineries could sell their wine to a younger generation. I used simple colors and shapes to give the sense of simplicity. I wanted a elegant look that would grab the attention of People my age.
